Instructional Design Intern

  • Designed, developed, and revised 12 asynchronous professional development courses on TalentLMS for adult learners.

  • Collaborated with SMEs and teammates to incorporate feedback, test deliverables, and ensure content accuracy and functionality.

  • Revised and developed 4 instructional videos: 2 revised from legacy content, 1 adapted from dense text, and 1 created with Viand to support engaging, media-rich learning.

  • Led bilingual (English-Chinese) instruction in ELA, Math, and Science for over 100 Grade 3 students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and student needs.

Online Course Design: CLIL Essentials: A Guide for Bilingual Educators

  • Designed a seven-module asynchronous course on Canvas guided by the Quality Matters rubric, applying Backward Design and multimedia principles such as segmenting and signaling.

  • Developed interactive content with Vyond and Articulate Storyline 360, and implemented accessibility features including WebAIM tools, alt text, and transcripts.

  • Piloted the design of one course module, receiving a High Pass and a score of 91/100 from the professor for strong instructional alignment and effective design execution.
